Scars

Scars tell your story. They tell a story that you don’t necessarily have to. People will guess, make their own assumptions, and wonder, but what most people won’t do is ask.

Scars also only tell your physical story. They don’t tell the emotional or mental part of your story. People will also go to assume this part of your story too. It’s unfortunate that the world has become a place of such judgement and assumption, it’s not fair to anyone and it really isn’t benefiting anyone either.

Scars are beautiful, scars are unique and completely one of a kind. They are personalized to each individual wearing them. They are YOUR scars, they tell YOUR story, YOU should embrace them. Don’t worry about what others think, what others assume, what others wonder, if they don’t ask, don’t tell them. Embrace their stares, embrace every damn thing your scars bring you, embrace every damn stare you receive – someone is checking you out 🙂 Haha. Life is too short to worry about what others think about you and what is visually representing you, don’t let their thoughts or possible assumptions consume you.

You are you. You are strong. You are enough. You are beautiful. Your scars are beautiful. Embrace what you’ve been dealt in life and inspire others to do the same thing, don’t hide behind them, do NOT let your journey (whatever it may be) run your life.
